During my conference on Art Total, I auctioned off to mark my taking possession of anything as part of my everything, my white Derby shirt. Arman purchased and paid by check the amount of 20 francs.
On that day, Arman, already famous, defies Ben to sell his shirt that should produce a nice profit if he is the important artist he claims to be. Ben takes off his shirt and puts it up for auction… which go up to ± 20 francs. And it's Arman who wins: he then pulls out his checkbook. Ben, first furious, because his shirt had cost him more at "Prisu," blossoms, takes the check and exclaims: "I have an Arman: a check signed Arman!"
