As documented in the photographs that have been unearthed, the entire performance is based on sculptural body movements. Daniel Farioli doesn’t remember the exact content of this specific piece.
The performance was part of a twelve-day exhibit at the CARI construction company site. Every day, Daniel Farioli and Wink Van Kempen did a performance… The decor was constantly changing… A harpsichord was brought in, and Daniel Farioli would play Yesterday, creating an inconsistency with the homemade instrument of mediocre musicality, impossible as it was to tune. And yet, the harpsichord made a spectacular sculptural piece within the space.
Music or sound plays an important role in Daniel Farioli’s performances. It is an ever-present element.
