Daniel Farioli and Gilbert Pedinielli, wearing masks, parody Corsican nationalists while opposing two leading principles in their work:
Gilbert Pedinielli brings his lances, designed according to the golden mean.
Daniel Farioli brings the trapezoid, a recurring geometric element in his work.
Daniel Farioli uses the trapezoid as a counterpoint to the rectangle of western civilization, and more generally, as a means of breaking us away from our presuppositions. Even the texts he writes have a trapezoidal construction.
