In and around the fountain of the storytelling area of the Media Library. Bruno Mendonça assisted by Virginie Blondel and Marita Ocelli.
Around the fountain are arranged thirty metal posts, each about two meters tall and topped with an empty, tranparent wine bottle. Each bottle carries a label with a portrait of Bruno Mendonça in a bike jacket and the inscription “Setting Up a Story Battle.”
Perched on the edge, he colors the fountain water pink. He comes down, makes sounds with the posts by striking them with a file or dragging them on the ground. The bottles progressively come down and are placed on the edge of the fountain, all around, the posts are liberated from the ground. Using funnels, the three protagonists pour a little sand in each bottle then slide a long object, always different (pen, stick, piece of painted wood...) inside. Bruno makes a pink gel run into it, each fills them with fountain water, mouths and groups them.
During the duration of the performance, speakers broadcast the sounds of liquid, electricity, lightning, wind, and engine.
Each bottle produced is numbered from one to thirty.
