Description:

Greenish seaweeds covered the stones of the artificial beach of La Réserve.

Description of the performance: armed with a metallic brush and a scraper I scrape clean the stones on the whole beach except for a square space of 150 x 150 cm that I am using as radiograph of the Mediterranean sea in which I undertake the drawing of a rib cage visible from the street. I think that the seaweeds will gradually make my drawing disappear. We will thus witness the slow asphyxia of these symbolic lungs. Unfortunately a storm devastated the beach making this ephemeral work of art brutally disappear before it was even finished.

Is it a sign from the Gods? The future shall tell.
