A virtual visit of a studio, In the Loop zooms onto what Jérôme Game's literary work owes to sensation and perceptions, direct or already mediated by other practices; how he captures them and rearticulates them in the text and the voice. Connections, cuttings, re-affectation: all the while framing the method, the performance-reading lets the book being written be heard. Sonorous and performative, his writing develops through collaborations with plastic artists, musicians and choreographers. His texts often use editing and ellipsis to create stuttering, precipitation and clashing effects, and ask critical and esthetic questions.
