In the exhibit Le principe de réalité at the Villa Arson, Philippe Perrin sets up a shooting range where he gives the public a chance, in exchange for 100 francs, to shoot at a life-size cardboard representation of the exhibitor armed with a pistol. Each visitor is entitled to three bullets. Each person leaves with his or her “card” signed, numbered and dated by the artist.
