Description:

Pinoncelli, disguised as a guerrillero, masked and armed with a sawed-off gun, proceeds to a holdup in Nice, at the Societe Generale.
He asks for one symbolic franc then finally 10 francs because of general inflation.
The artist carries with him a letter of explanation, just in case things go wrong ... Pierre Pinoncelli exits, walking a military parade. For this reason he does not get shot. He will simply be arrested, but he had actually risked his life.

The story has it that a year later, Spaggiari realizes his true heist in this very place.

Word of the artist:
"It's a free show and that brings me absolutely NOTHING (besides beatings, arrests and applause), so nothing that can help to " feed my family "(sic) because I never take any collection, nor pass around a mountain infantry beret, after the "representation" to be filled with one franc (AF) coins.This position of "working for nothing" can only be suspected in a consumer society where there’sa price on the head of every minute. "
