I stand motionless and silent in front of the cash register, then at the entrance of the Magnan Cultural Center’s cinema theater, then at the exit. The film screened is Ferdinand Deligny’s Le moindre geste (The Least Gesture). The walls of suffering and human folly take all forms… I have crafted a piece of rectangular white cardboard to cover my head. Only my eyes are visible.
On either side of my mask, viewers can read:
“A small barrier against a big wall”
“Do not finance this wall”
“I boycott”
“Israeli products”
“Ano Nyme”

This action refers to the wearing of a white flag during a demonstration against the American intervention in Iraq.
