Description:

communication: proliferating signifiers of a euphoric consumer society, ostentatious signs of a youth in need of a change, linguistic and visual signs? Who is the Group signaling to, with these Argonaut style beacons, to whom is it aiming these signals placed on the roof of a jail, facing the canopy of heaven and destined to faraway but unlikely correspondents? Universal language of simple and geometric shapes, its visual language evolving towards the abstraction of geometrical lines and planes, with vanishing and abyssal perspectives. Are these signs signaling to better worlds, out of disenchantment with the deep pervading conformism? Painting on the ground: tracing simple geometric shapes with the participation of the audience. Mirrors: on wooden structures -- optical signals (sun, spotlights, long-distance visibility). Beacons: ground signaling -- markings on site and in town. Balloons: balloon probes -- transportation and escape of the sign. Audio track: stereo editing -- contemporary music -- sounds. Texts: spontaneous contributions at the microphone. Expressing with gestures: on site, at night. Can one imagine more significant exchanges and without dialectics? The music speaks of the small consequence of our personal condition. Direct interference on the tape, by anyone, at any time, indicates the poetic potential and the responsibility of the freedom that lie at the bottom of man. Rather than just being a parody of scientific and technological experiments of terrestrial and spatial communication, the game strives to uncover the creative gesture of the "communicator".
