Description: 
The immersion of the paintings lasted 8 hours; their exhibition on the lake’s shores lasted for 3 months; finally, the dismantling of the Bruno Mendonça’s "expoimmersion" lasted 1 hour.
Setting of nine canvases, size 30F, around the shores of the Lake St. Auban. The canvases, covered with a thick clear plastic were fixed with battens deeply anchored into the soil. Equipped with a wetsuit, I installed the paintings at a three meters distance from the shore, slightly angled to correct the distortion produced by the water. Large stones completed the presentation of the installation.
The audience has been able to visit this exhibi-immersion for 3 months while walking around the lake.
At the end of the three months, I removed the installation, recovered the paintings, stones and sticks in about an hour.
The paintings were later exhibited at the Frederic Altmann Marginal Art gallery in Nice in 1976.
A big bag of stones, pebbles, used during the exhibi-immersion, was installed in the window.
A large stone was sent and shattered the window!
