Description: 
La Fanfare is a video installation with a performance that brings together the city, an action and a character inspired by my own person. I walk and interfere in the quotidian of this urban space by playing a poorly gifted fife player, who plays alone a partition designed for a band’s high-pitched fifes. By playing this partition individually, a play on silence is set since the rest of the band is absent.
The video installation gathers several sequences on screens that are face to face or in line to suggest a communication that fails in the manner of a parapraxis. The result leads, on a sonic level, to a kind of hubbub.
