A staging of Raoul Hébréard’s text The Trade Winds. The work is an extension of performances from the 1980s-90s, but adapted for theatre. It is a succession of “paintings/actions” where I create stage designs and set lighting directly from the stage without using theatre tools. The shift from performance to theatre creates a repetition of work between the comedian and the dancer and not by the consideration of the ephemeral and its randomness.
