The first action is a wild hanging of the twenty-eight sheets of paper representing two thousand portraits of anonymous people drawn in 1999. The sheets are hung after having been deformed by folding, which creates volumes that catch the light and play with the shadow.

The sheets are attached to the wall with sticking putty. I spend each day gathering and rehanging on the wall the divisions that have fallen to the ground during the battles that took place in my absence.
