Description:
I took a large black monochrome canvas (format 100F), and put it on the easel. A table lit only by candles enabled me to read my texts.

Taking off my hat and my black coat, I presented several objects to the audience including containers filled with earth and sand.

I sprinkled myself with the bottle of water, undressed into a bathing suit and spilled a bag of sawdust all over my body.

I covered the canvas by throwing earth and sand energetically.

I rubbed the earth to make it penetrate every little cranny. Then I put the canvas on the ground and laid down on it as if to make love to it. I beat, hit, crushed the canvas until it was all out of shape. After that I got dressed again, put the canvas back vertically, gathered the earth and the sand into a pail that I spilled over the table. I lit two candles. With arms outstretched I raised a container with a piece of the cutup canvas, sand and earth, like a priest in church during Eucharistie. Then I read my own texts for 10 minutes and the performance was over...
