Description:

Ben and his associates demonstrate against Arman’s exhibit. They brandish signs—“Down with the openers,” “Art must change art,” “Everything is art”—and distribute flyers to the passersby. The flyer reads: “So-called ‘avant-garde’ art must not be the sterile exploitation of Duchamp’s approach, stripped of its youth and power and exhibited, framed, and hedonized for the general public and dentists’ waiting rooms.”
