That evening at 8:06 PM, Tomahawks from the aircraft carriers based in the Adriatic Sea and B-52 NATO missiles fell over Serbia. The answer to this barbaric attack was immediate: as early as 9:50 PM, Guignol’s Band invaded the galerie des Ponchettes in Nice and caused the explosion in mid air of the cautious Printemps des Poètes (Spring for the Poets) by dedicating the public and musical reading of an endless pleading by Fidel Castro to “our Serbian brothers”. The rest is history.
